July + August 2025
Hey Chefs,
We’ve had a busy couple of weeks, and we’re excited to share what’s new! These updates are designed to make your experience smoother, help you deliver amazing service, and keep you informed about what’s coming next. Let’s dive in 🚀
🤖 1. Meet Eva – Your AI Wellness Assistant
We’re introducing Eva, Easy Platter’s AI-powered wellness insights tool! Customers can now call Eva (directly from their account) to get personalized wellness guidance.
Why this matters: Many customers are using Easy Platter not just for meals, but to meet specific wellness goals, like managing high blood pressure, losing weight, or eating for better energy.
👉 Tip : When you’re with customers, ask if they have tried talking to Eva about their goals or if they have any feedback. This helps build trust, ensures meals align with what they want, and shows them we’re invested in their long-term success.
📱 2. Mobile App Coming Soon!
Big news: We’re building a mobile app and aiming to launch it before the end of this year. This will make things easier for both you and customers you servel, from managing schedules to booking to communication. Stay tuned!
📖 3. Recipe Page Redesign
We’ve refreshed the recipe page and recipe information page 🎉 They’re now cleaner, faster, and easier to navigate.
⭐ 4. Ratings Matter (and How to Improve Yours)
Your rating directly impacts your visibility, future bookings, and earnings. Here’s how to consistently score high:
Be on time
Keep the kitchen clean
Deliver high-quality food
Be mindful of portion sizes (don’t overcook — customers notice!)
Stay professional & communicate clearly
Encourage repeat bookings (the biggest driver of high ratings!)
⚠️ 5. How Ratings Can Be Impacted
Here’s what can hurt your rating:
Cancelling an accepted booking → biggest negative impact. If a customer wants to cancel, tell them to do it themselves online. If you cancel, your rating will drop.
Rejecting or ignoring booking requests → high impact. Keep your availability updated so you don’t get requests you can’t accept.
📊 6. Chef Survey Key Results
A big thank-you to those who filled out the recent survey 🙏 Here’s what we learned from you:
Biggest challenges:

18% Kitchen setup
18% Communication with client
18%: Scheduling issues

👉 We’re actively working on solutions for each of these, with helping customers with missing ingredients issue at the top of the list.
